My Dad fell and after being in the hospital for 8 days needed a rehab facility I chose PO rehab since he had been there before and it was close to home. However he tested positive for Covid and was sent to another facility which is another story. This facility is clean and looks homey. The staff is friendly although on weekends staff is limited. He said food was better than other place so the weight he lost in the hospital he put back on here plus he could pick his menu which was a help in getting him to eat. When the patient gets to this facility staff meet with the family and patient to get to know each patient and their needs. Of course I had a couple of things I asked about during his stay but overall my Dad had a good stay and is home continuing to recover!!
Port Orange Nursing and Rehab has a great rehab team, is a clean facility , the staff was nice. If I had to do rehab again it would be at Port Orange Nursing and Rehab.
My mom absolutely loves the activities department. Thank you for all you do for her . ❤️
Since my grandpa passed away my grandma really enjoys the activities department. She loves playing bingo , going out for lunch trips outside the facility.
I lover Port Orange nursing home they treat my mother like family every single person that works there from administrators all the way down to their daily nurses God Bless you all
I like living here. My daily usual morning nurse is excellent. They have a great activities director. I enjoy the daily activities. The food is okay.
My husband was discharged from hospital so soon I did not have enough time to arrange much. I chose PONursing on recommendations. We were not happy with the only room available but THE CARE was more than expected. Almost Everyone was kind and helpful to explain and answer our questions. This made such a difference in our experience. We arrived on a Holiday weekend but still found the care needed. He was moved to a better room and we are well pleased with his care.
Update, we made our own Urologist appointment and had help putting him in our car. I couldn't manage getting him into Dr Morrow so his PA kindly assisted me to get Jerry into the Doctor and back in the car after he was seen. We decided it was best after 12 days in rehab to go home and have Home nurse and Therapy.
Dealt with Dana in the business department, she was very professional, and kind. Hope to continue to deal with her.
I am currently a patient at Port Orange Nursing and Rehabilitation. I have been here 10 days. Very Professional and Caring Nursing is the standard. In the Rehabilitation are two extremely talented workers Ryan and Katie. Ryan gives me confidence I will fully recover. Listen to actual patients when reading reviews.Relatives can be haters. I bring you the Truth. Put your faith in Port Orange Nursing and Rehabilitation.
I am happy to give Port Orange Nursing and Rehab Center 4 stars. After a long, drawn out bookkeeping issue, I did not wish to give them 5 stars. My 95 year old mother has been a long term resident at this facility for a year now. We are grateful for the care she's been given, since being a long term resident on the East Wing. Her Nurses and CNAs always treat her with kindness, care, patience, and top notch skill. They notify me promptly when Mom has a fall, skin tear, or other problem, no matter how small. The Activity Department, especially Leslie, is always attentive to Mom and has even sent me photos of Mom if we're out of town. We visit Mom 3 days a week and the facility is always clean and pleasant to visit. Other residents are friendly and appear to be as content as Mom. Mom's clothes are laundered promptly, and she is always clean and well dressed. Colleen, in the Salon, has done a fabulous job with Mom's hair each week. Chantel has been a wonderful asset to us, right from the start. Stacie and the entire PT,OT, and Speech Dept. has helped Mom retain as much of her physical abilities as possible and continue to monitor her. We are grateful to have Mom is this facility and know that we can go about our own daily needs, knowing that Mom is well taken care of.
Both of my elderly parents were residents for a collective 15 years. Throughout that time they received thorough and loving care from the staff. The activities Director is an example of going beyond the call! The facility, inside and out, was always meticulously clean. I was always immediately contacted by a nurse when their was an issue with my parents health. I highly recommend the facility to entrust your family member's health care needs.
Im 88 years old and have been in and out of rehabs many times and this one of the best facilities I have been too. The food is excellent and very appetizing. The staff are pleasant and always willing to help.

Hard working, dedicated staff that care about their residents.
My time here at port orange has been eventful, I have meet alot nice people and staff is very efficient and helpful
I have been a patient here for a week now, with severe neuropathy in my legs. Since my admission the entire staff treated me like I was part of the family. I have been doing physical therapy daily. The nursing staff dispenses in my medication in a timely manner. The food is good and you can order a substitute meal if needed.
It's the holiday season and the staff is cheerful but not overbearing. I would encourage anyone needing medical attention to contact the facility.
Lastly, supervisor Wendy helped me with a special request. It's a great place to get it together and regroup
I have lived here at Port Orange Nursing and Rehab for the past 6 years and I enjoy every thing about it. The food the staff the activities and the friendships have made.
This is the best facility in the area! A very clean facility with amazing staff.
Wonderful staff! Friendly and always available to talk to. Always a good experience when working and coordinating with them helping families. Tim, Christine, and Theresa have been there forever and are absolutely amazing! Great team!!
My 90 mother fell in Sept 2018 and after a hip replacement we selected Port Orange Nursing and Rehab for the after care. The rehab was great, the people were all very caring and kind.
With the insurance running out I had no choice but to place her in medicare/medicaid for long term care since she had dementia and could no longer care for herself. I have been very satisfied with the staff, especially Leanne and Breanna whom go above and beyond caring for my mother and her room mate.
The staff isn't perfect as all places have some faults, yet I will say I feel very fortuanate and grateful to have found such a clean, caring and friendly facility. The bonus is, it is less than 5 mins from my home! Win Win!
I absolutely love this place. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. This is just an absolutely amazing place to work. Thank you to all the staff, especially the administrator for making this such a great place to work.
Excellent patient care, caring and friendly staff, very good rehabilitation outcomes
My dear friend admitted here after a bad fall. Staff was very attentive, friendly, and they let her husband bring her fur babies to visit her. Clean facility, lots of activities for the patients.
Best rehab team in town
The therapy department was awesome , my mom had some ups and downs, but they got her through it . Had some miscommunication with the discharge, but all in all great.
My Eighty year mentor had suffered a broken femur. He entered the rehab facility and received excellent care and treatment. It was a wonderful experience with excellent rehab. The entire staff took great pride in their patient care.
Has the Best rehab department in all of Volusia county
I was in here for 10 days and I had some wonderful nurses and cna's, who went above and beyond their job description. PT and OT were awesome. It was always clean and the food was good. Thank you all for the kindness and compassion you showed me.
This is a wonderful facility- safe and filled with caring individuals. I felt immediately comforted at my tour that any loved ones in this center would be well cared for. Very kind and skilled staff. Highly recommend
This was only a temporary situation for my mother. It seems to be like a few other nursing homes in the area. Communication is not great, but better than at the last rehab center my mother visited. This place is leaps and bounds above that place (which I won't mention by name at my mother's doctor's request). I like the outdoor fountain and gardens which is a nice area to take loved ones during visits.

This is one of the nicest skilled nursing and rehab facilities I have ever seen. The staff work very hard and care about the patients. It is always clean and has a pleasant atmosphere, a beautiful tropical garden area, and lots of live music for entertainment.
The therapy department is one if the best. Everyone of the therapists treat the patients as if they were their own family. Very caring, empathetic , inspiring and help the individual reach their highest goals.
Love this place, they have been so caring, loving, and have helped dozens of my residents from Grace Manor. Also, my grandpa was there twice and they got him up and walking in just a few weeks.

I'm a nurse at Port Orange Rehab. I've been here for 4 years now and can honestly say, it's one of the nicest places in the county. If my own parents needed in patient rehab, I would bring them here!
This is a great place to stay and rehab a hip replacement. I've been here since Saturday and making great progress (8/11/15)
